Some More Cute Stuff
Charlie woke me up by giggling in my ear today. Trevor brought her over to the bed and it was nice to wake up to a happy baby. When daddy left for work she looked for him all over the house. I both love and hate it when she does that. It's adorable until she realizes that he isn't home. She just sits there and pouts, until I distract her with toys or food.
Today we spent some time with Meemaw and Grupma John. Meemaw took us to the store and to get a Happy Meal. She got the creepiest clown toy, but she likes it a lot so I guess I'll deal. We got some Easter books. Nothing fancy, but some fun and cute stories. We also got a chocolate bunny, it was Flopsy from the Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit. Mom bought the cutest Easter bucket.It's pink and has some chicks on it.
When we got home daddy came to commiserate and spend some time "recharging [his] batteries". He had some bad luck with this test, but I'm sure he'll pass next time around.

Cousin Amy's Visit
Yesterday night was great. Joshy came and picked us up. Charlotte was so excited to see him. Josh seemed pretty thrilled too. They played together for a good part of the night.
When we got there Amy showed me that she bought Charlotte Easter socks. I'm glad because I forgot about the socks completely. It was so thoughtful of her. Amy looks amazing. She's always been so beautiful though.
Goodness Alyssa and Ryan are total dolls. Alyssa was so good with Charlotte. Talking to her and playing with her. Charlotte was very interested in Ryan, but he wasn't nearly so charmed. I can't believe how big they are. I remember both of them being born like it was yesterday.
After diner and a short visit we went home.
Today when Charlotte and I were playing I heard her say Scott. I know she was just repeating what I said, but I still thought it was awesome. So I texted Scott and I guess it made him miss her and her came to say hello. She fell asleep right before he got here. So he just went in and kissed her and watched her sleep for a minute. We visited for a bit and then he decided he was going to leave. So he went in to kiss her goodbye and she woke up. She grabbed for him so he picked her up and she snuggled into him . She delayed his leaving for about fifteen minutes. I think his visit made her day. She loves her uncles so much.
She just woke up again. So I'm going to go get her and we're going to have story-time.

Let's Catch Up
Chuck has had a few good days. She's always smiling and giggling. Lately she thinks leaning over and tilting her head is hilarious. I'll have to get a video somehow, because it's freaking adorable. She also has taken to bringing things to me (primarily books and stuffed animals) showing me how to use them and then giving the item to me. Once I do it too, she'll take it away and give me something else. Although her favorite game is still when we're crawling around and she takes off for a room and shuts the door on me.
A couple days ago most of my immediate family were having really bad days. When they came over Chuck seemed to help make things better. Dad got his batteries recharged and made Charlotte super happy. She wore him out pretty fast though. I have a cute video of them playing with the swing. I think me having this baby has made me closer with a lot of my family. It's kinda made my relationship with Libbers a bit difficult at times, but no more than usual.
Charlotte called Amanda the other day. It reminded us that it's been ages since we'd seen each other, so she came over and we spent some time catching up. It was so nice to see her. For those of you who don't know Amanda Gay, she is absolutely awesome. She is so smart, funny, and nonjudgmental. She's one of the people in my life that is a living model of the person I'm striving to become more like.
